Is it possible to make all water on every map transparent by default?

Just put r_wateralpha 0.3 (or whatever you may need) in your config

BTW you need to revise your maps maps first.

Bye!

Is it possible. Add the following command to your autoexec.cfg or enter it in console:

r_novis 1

This asks for a lot of processing from your graphics card but modern cards won't break a sweat.

Although the water will appear translucent, you won't be able to see players and other models underwater unless the server specifically allows it. This is true even for vised maps.

I have R9600SE, and it's loosing a lot of speed in case near QMB rocket explosion (like rocket jump). Very annoying...

I'm using only single player mode, don't even watch coop demos :)
