That effect looks really nice. It looks like the same qmb effect that's in joequake/qrack but just with a different sprite. Am I right? The original qmb one joequake comes with is pretty unsatisfying, as it basically looks like silly string. I tried making a snazzier one, here's the best I could come up with (I believe sput included this in his pak0 for qrack?): (btw to use this put it in /joequake/textures/particles) here it is in action: |

I think the lightning came from Amfquake, but Ezquake has those cvars listed that allow you to change it. Speaking of qmb, the new rocket trail is very nice and I haven't seen it yet in any other engine. |

aww yea i get it now. Damn it was so long ago when I did the last update...i had forgotten about these things *sigh* I've removed this a long ago from the upcoming version. This was just something i tried to make the QMB rocket trail similar to the Q3 ones, nevermind. Well, I believe you are unable to disable that glow unless you turn QMB particles off, sorry. The new version will be not using that. |
