What is the command line you are using? Is it? c:\quake\joequake-gl.exe -ip (your ip)? And what is the one that works for your other quake? |

I downloaded GameSpy 2.19 from Slot's archives (the last ad-free version of GameSpy) and used this .... I was able to connect to servers just fine. 192.168.1.100 = router ip = start-run, type "command" and press Enter and type IPCONFIG and press Enter = shows your IP to use. |

Gamespy and joe quae point to runequake server. It says connecting to 69.64.35.20 but connects local to my 192.168.XXX. I can manually connect if I enter in the rune quake ip |

To my knowledge, Gamespy launches quake in the following manner: c:\quake\joequake-gl.exe -(whatever options) +exec GameSpy.cfg where GameSpy.cfg has the following contents: Code: name "Your Name"
color 0 0 echo Connecting to 64.202.114.222 port 26000 connect 64.202.114.222 I've tried a few different things to reproduce your problem and can't seem to create a similar problem. |
