CheckParticles should be called after executing config files (config.cfg, autoexec.cfg, quake.rc
OR (better)
should be called on each R_ToggleParticles call AND each time M_Menu_VideoOptions_f is calling

Can i send you a few bugfixes? For Linux, but it shouldn't mess in windows version. I'm sick adding them each time you're releasing new source
code.

ok, I'll have a look at checkparticles().

about the fixes: yeah, pls send them, but I've been working on the linux version in the past few days, fixed plenty of things etc.

Plenty? Hm.., I've been using GLXJQ for about 2 months and found only a few bugs. Maybe because i'm looking at "critical" bugs...

well, since I modified the readdir/parameter completion thingie a bit, I had to re-cooperate it under linux too. But now, it works better than ever :) even without glob :P

Without glob? I have to look at this!

I've forgotten then i'm using console only for changing cvars.

well, it doesn't replaces glob fully, coz it works only for bla* strings not for *bla, but imho the beginning of the strings are way more important for us when searching names...
