currently ... screenshot. Saves a screenshot as joequakexxx.tga proposed ... screenshot_png {name} . Saves a PNG format screenshot as joequakexxx.png or specified filename.png. Example: Code: screenshot_png antipackrune Would write a screenshot of the current screen and save it as antipackrune.png This would be an excellent feature for developers/server admins/clan members/players to save screenshots without having to rename the files. More examples: Code: screenshot_png gravitywellrune screenshot_png rocketjump screenshot_png baldm7_map screenshot_png playername screenshot_png joequake_particles_rocket In fact, there might even be a better implementation than the above ... Code: nextscreenshotname gravitywellrune
The next time a screenshot is done pressing F12, it will be saved as gravitywellrune.png Just another idea, I don't know how hard or easy it is to save screenshots in the PNG format, so if that is a non-starter the above features would be fine as PCX/TGA format. (If PNG is doable, you might consider making all screenshots made in JoeQuake save as PNGs instead of PCX/TGA). |

I always thought it would make more sense to name the screenshot after the level like e1m1_1 |

It's already built in. Type "screenshot <whatever>" to customize it. Use "scr_sshot_type" to define the screenshot's type. Default is TGA, accepted strings are TGA and PNG. You may also use "screenshot blabla.png" and then it'll save to a .png no matter what scr_sshot_type is. |

Mr Wi-Fi: Post the entire readme in the forum and maybe we'll read it. Hehe, I begin to like your kind of humour But, plz fuck off, get your lazy ass and READ that FUCKING joequake.txt or the Features page and STOP asking those annoying questions again and again!!! Huh, okay, don't take me that serious I agree that the documentation is NOT detailed enough, but at least you should TRY to find out by yourself what could be wrong instead of asking questions on this board immediately... |
