Post subject:  Hypertechnical JoeQuake/QRack Question

I've played around with JoeQuake 0.15 and basically removed all the files from my c:\quake folder.

Am I correct in believing the only files actually required for JoeQuake GL and JoeQuake software are the actual pak0.pak effects file and the ID software pak files?

In other words, JoeQuake does not need any of these files:

Quote:
cwsdpmi.exe
fxmemmap.vxd
genvxd.dll
glquake.exe <----obviously not
mgenvxd.vxd
pdipx.com
pmpro16.dll
pmpro32.dll
q95.bat
qlaunch.exe <----obviously not
quake.exe <----obviously not
quakeudp.dll
wdir16.dll
wdir32.dll
wdirnop.com
wdirnop.pif
winquake.exe <----obviously not
wq.bat <----obviously not

So all these dll files and vxd files are irrelevant for the functioning of JoeQuake and QRack correct?

Meaning that ...

c:\quake\joequake.exe
c:\quake\joequake-gl.exe
c:\quake\glqrack.exe
c:\quake\joequake\pak0.pak and c:\quake\qrack\pak0.pak
c:\quake\id1\(game data paks)

Are actually the only *required* files for an operational JoeQuake/QRack install? (It's more fun to have dzip.exe and fmod.dll, of course)
