Good advice, Baker. What do you think if I tell them that the admin is only good if they play regularly on my server and nobody elses. That might score me even more visitors!

This isn't good for Quake. It may be good for player attraction at one server or another but in general this isn't good for Quake.

I run my own server where nobody is banned. I help with admin duties at Widomaker because I invested a lot of time in it in the past and want to continue to help keep it alive in the future. Some of the things going on in the message boards AND behind the scenes are really inappropriate and makes ALL the admins involved look very immature.

I play other (newer) games as well as Quake and hear the same banter I see in Quake and on these boards. The difference is that I kinda expect that in the other games because most everyone is new and hasn't learned how to conduct themselves.

I no longer expect to find it going on here, but here it is, again. Work together or you'll just fade away seperately, slowly, eventually.

...Said the man who gave his server away to the same person who used to make fun of him and kick all his players via qsmack when he left the qsmack passcode in source code by mistake.

I gave the server to IEEE to run when I decided to go back to college. After I was forced to leave because I needed to work full time, IEEE refused to return it to me, and gave it to Ben.
