Hi Slot, can you point me to a more detailed description of what enabling rune-dropping does and doesn't do?

Added a poll. Trying to figure out why people are voting to enable rune-dropping.

So, if you don't mind take the poll and leave a blurb about why you votes yes/no.

Thanks

The command vote-rune-drop toggles the ability to drop your rune when you die. So, if you died while yielding the resistance rune your resistance rune would drop along with your backpack allowing other players who knew what rune you had to come along and snatch it.

If I vote yes to this poll, will my rune drop immediately?

Thanks Slot.

I noticed that you can't pick up your last rune?

Also after a while everybody seems to have the same rune. It's very frustrating.

The 'can pick up own rune' is a server option and currently not votable. As for everyone running around with the same runes, it's usually best to vote rune dropping off so that new runes can spawn when someone dies rather than the same old rune they had.

I figured it was something along those lines,

I wish I could convince them to vote it off to...

If you find that a lot of votes are passing frequently you can enable the never command which is a toggle that votes no for every active vote. With the command still active, you then can optionally vote yes (once to remove the no, and then once again to vote yes) if you should want your vote to be counted. Use the show-votes command to see who voted what and who initiated the vote.

Thanks for the never command, I used too use it but forgot about it.
