hmm.. tough one, how much is the fiber?
and I dont think you will get any television programs with that right? not as much as what TW offers anyway, and keeping both isnt an option because of the price and seems pointless at this point in time
I think having fiber right now is only relevant if you want to watch streams in 4k maybe, I know youtube offers a few.... but even with a standard connection you can view 4k... I tried, but it just puts my computer in overdrive lol.... so it still works, at least with my connection which isnt great at all..lol
I think you could have it just set up and activate/ pay later? As for quake/ ping, Im not sure it would matter, most are avg in skill at best on shmack.. but maybe you want to compete in tough dm matches at dmtx? lol, then yes it would be useful there but if you only play at shmack, I would think not lol
Or maybe if you play other online games heavily that are all the way across the US, then you would benefit from the ping decrease for sure..... ping would probably be less, unless there is a hickup some where, or what if you dont like it (have weird un-explainable lag - which could happen with any connection) .... can you have fiber technicians come/ help you with your connection as would TW can? or get good support for your problems? just some stuff to ponder.. lol
Can you call up google fiber, and ask all this maybe?
