My thoughts:

Vote-exit where you select the map is great, but I think it should be renamed to "vote-map".

The nice thing about the standard vote-exit is that one doesn't need to "think". Half the time, all I know is that I hate the current map and I don't necessarily have a good idea for what the next map should be.

I think if the newest and current incarnation of "vote-exit" were renamed to "vote-map" and the old "vote-exit" were "vote-exit", it would be perfect.

Yes I also think this is a nice idea. Just typing vote-exit (actually i had a key bound to it) took only a second to do without missing a beat. Then you were ready for whatever random level would come next.

Vote-map already exists. Not everyone reads the message board so I wanted to be sure that players were aware they could vote on a specific level instead of a random one. I'm just giving it some time, then vote-exit will work as it did.

You might make it so that when you do a standard vote-exit, it says something like "Player voted-exit, 3 more votes needed" then "Want a specific level, use vote-map instead"

I agree Baker, but for now, I think the most effective way to let people know they can vote for a specific level is to prevent the default action and force them to read the message.

Thanks!
