The Rune Quake source code is now on GitHub! There are two main reasons why this is important: 1. Everyone has up to date access to the Rune Quake source code. Often I would make a small change here and there, like a fix or a wanted feature, but I wouldn't publish the code until I thought I had accumulated enough changes to make it worth a release. Now, I simply push my changes to GitHub whenever I commit them. If you see a 'Bump up version.' in the commit log, it indicates these changes are already on the Shmack server. 2. Anyone can participate in it's development. See a bug in the code you want to fix? Get a free github account and fix it! Documentation is out of date or contains misinformation? Get a free github account and edit it! Think you have a cool rune and you want to add it? Get a free github account and code it! If you're unfamiliar with GitHub, ultimately you're going to want to Google how to do a Pull Request and from there it will explain what you need to do prior to that. If you need help getting started, you can always contact me for help! |

Okay, I added some code as a "Hello World" test. Please let me know if you found the changes. I'm not sure how it would notify you of the changes. |

Slot, is func.qc missing in this source? |

The github code is the source code generates both the poq and qw folders. It requires GNU make, m4, perl, and qccx to be installed on your Linux machine or Cygwin on Windows. The func.qc file is created automatically by a perl script that reads all of the function names and declares them in a its own file (func.qc). This makes declaring a function unnecessary, however, you will have to occasionally run 'make func' when you remove a function completely or add a new function whose call precedes its placement in progs.src. |

Any plans to see if this works for Quake Remastered? If I ever have time I might give it a try. |
