Greetings fellow Quakers, I hope you all are well and will soon be having a happy Xmas and a very prosperous 2022
Just in case you may have missed it, a talented Quake mapper called dumptruck_ds has very kindly put together a preview of a range of projects from the Quake community that are due to be released during 2022. It's nice to see life being breathed back in to Quake and if you have 14 mins to spare why not show dumptruck a little support and watch his video.

Yes he and Arrceee have been getting a bit of a following amongst the more mature quakers, but I'm suprised it has done that well. dumptruck has been contributing in a variety of creative ways to the community for quite a while now so I hope he gets a little appreciation for his efforts

Hello fellow Quakers,

I thought the following might be of use to anyone wishing to either get in to Quake for the first time, or get get in to it after a period of absence. Let's face it we need all the help we can get some times so I'm hoping this contribution will be well received by the members. Towards the end of 2019 a talented mapper and Quake player called JCR put together a video quick start guide designed to help.

​Hello again

Whilst looking around youtube for something interesting and Quake related to watch for a few minutes I came across this video highlighting a blind playthrough of the "Bonk Jam" . The Jam is a slightly different take on Quake with different monsters, maaps, weapons and playmodes but all the usual QQuake goodness is in there plus jump puzzles and more.

If you want to play the Jam yourself you should be able to download it here. Caution : Unfortunately there are quite a few sweary words in this video so those of a sensitive disposition may wish to bear this in mind before watching.

If you wanted to browse through some of his many other videos you could use the link below. The channel contains mainly discussion and playthroughs of newer Quake levels, jams and mods and is well worth a look.
